Visiting a project for young homeless people

I visited a really inspiring project, run by a charitable organisation called Stonham, that houses young people aged from 16-25, in a big house in Slough.

I took some photos and spoke to the staff, and to some of the young people who live there. One of the residents, Christine, was a star for the day. She was being interviewed by Craig Doyle from 'Daybreak' (the ITV breakfast programme), for a piece they were doing about homelessness among young women.

Christine's story was really harrowing - she'd been sleeping rough, alone, wherever she could, until she got a place with Stonham. Now she's getting her life back together and can look to the future with confidence.

Stonham does some amazing work with vulnerable people, all over England. Find out more about Stonham's work by visiting their website.
